The venue was adorned with a perfect blend of antique, whimsical New England decor.

Everywhere I turned, I saw touches of greenery and delicate handmade mushrooms, which served as enchanting centerpieces made by the bride. It was as if you were stepping into a fairytale forest when entering the tent. The attention to detail was impeccable. it created a magical ambiance that perfectly complemented the couple’s vision for this fairytale lake side wedding.

But a look at the vendors that took part in this beautiful day.

When making up the vision board for her wedding, the bride custom created clay sculpture centerpieces. These fine detailed, vibrant painted pieces were mushrooms. Madalyn and Wesley spend their time together often mushroom hunting spending quality time together. It only made sense to incorporate these into the wedding vision.

Hoping for an outdoor ceremony, they took cover in the Inns’ barn located on the property instead. Surrounded by twinkle lights and a statement piece at the front of the aisle, the two said ‘I do”. Guest showering them at the end with pops of color dried floral. As the rain died down, the two trotted across the street with their wedding party, umbrellas in hand.

Bride and groom walking down the aisle with flowers being thrown at them.

Sharing moments with their wedding party, they made their way into the tent for a few traditional wedding day festivities and more. A highlight from their reception was the sit down family style dinner. I remember speaking with them during their engagement about seating. Running with some ideas and playing with her own, Madalyn created an inviting and functional seating chart for her guest. The Oak and Grain restaurant at the Inn prepared family serving dishes feeding each table.

The night ended with dancing to the point you couldn’t tell if it was the lingering mist or sweat from the breaking dancing moves. Either way, everyone was enjoying this fairytale lake side wedding for Madalyn and Wesley.
